Avocet Arts feature original watercolour paintings. Paintings are created with bright clear watercolours and enhanced with ink, and occasionally shimmery, sparkly paint.

I started off painting beach huts way back in 2001, since then I have sold over 1000 paintings and have sent them across the world. My paintings shown at avocetarts.com feature beach huts, lighthouses and boats, houses, towns and cities, secret fairy houses and recently garden sheds and summerhouses. Many people have purchased my paintings for childrens rooms and babies nurseries. The bright clear colours are always popular with children and brighten up any space. My fairy houses are particular popular with little girls and boys love the boat scenes.

Why "Avocet" Arts?  I have to admit that I love birds. Avocets have always been my favourites, they are such beautiful dainty birds.
